Our original pigment guide recommends approximately 45β60 minutes for processing. Once complete, rinse thoroughly with cool water until the water runs clearer. Avoid shampooing during this initial rinse. Style as desired and prepare for compliments. LOTS of compliments.

Wash with cooler water whenever possible, choose gentle colour-friendly shampoo and conditioner, minimise unnecessary washing and avoid excessive heat styling. Sun exposure and chlorine can also speed up fading. A little extra TLC goes a long way.
With great pigment comes great responsibility! Like many highly pigmented semi-permanent colours, BOLD may stain or transfer to skin, towels, clothing or bedding, especially during the first few washes or when hair is damp. Wear gloves, protect surfaces and use darker towels and pillowcases initially. Some stains can be difficult or impossible to remove. Consider your favourite white pillowcase warned.
